I've had a problem with allergies and symptoms this year. Upon the advice of my Oto, I've been taking Zyrtec everyday and it has offered relief but upon waking before I take it I have symptoms. For the last two days, I've taken one Benedryl at bedtime. I'm not waking up with symptoms anymore and I'm fine without the Zyrtec. Any comments?
Benadryl is a vestibular suppressant as well as an antihistamine. It is a good med to take for MM, MAV and allergies.
I was taking the benedryl but then started Getting tinitus when I would take it, The bonnine did the same thing. Every time I think I find a solution it fails after a whole maybe Just a coincidence .
I had a few experiences where the next day after taking Benadryl my hearing was worse for a day or so.
I have not had those experiences but I am also on an antiviral. No more Zyrtec for me. This is the trick!
