Four months of constant tinnitus, vomiting when Vertigo gets bad, diarrhea, falling, dizziness, weird hearing issues, and have resorted to carrying a cane to help stabilize myself. Rolling over in bed, with my eyes closed can make me dizzy and nauseous. I don't like this. I am struggling to find peace. I am going to "lurk" about to see how others are coping. I live in a Western State, Pacific Time Zone. My sleep patterns are "wonky." I can't find a happy medium, and I feel like I am losing my confidence. Joy is tough to find right now. I need help finding coping methods. Thank you for being here and for listening.

You will find a lot of helpful information here.

We've all been where you are, some still are.

My saving grace was the Antiviral treatment. There's a lot of information about that here as well.

Sorry you're so sick, but welcome to the forum.

Have you gotten to a Dr yet ?

We have all been where you are and we all have different regimens that work for us..... Keep reading and ask as many questions as you want.... Its AWFUL. We know. And I'm sorry and offer hugs..

You have come to the best place for information. Everything you describe was me less than two years ago. I had been to at least six Dr's and in and out of the hospital. Then I found this site and heard about antiviral and Lysine treatment and others told me about the various surgical procedures that gave them their lives back. I had to try several things because what works for one doesn't for another. I still have dizzy days some but nowhere near what I experienced before. Many others on this site are living very normal lives again. So don't give up, there are some great people here willing to help.

One last thing, have you talked to your Dr about positional vertigo? Rolling over in bed and getting dizzy can be that which can be helped with Epley treatments by your ENT.

Thank you all, the Epley treatment was helpful, for a while, then I lost insurance. Got insurance again, so off to an ENT and full hearing test next week.

My hubby is blind. He just stepped in cat poop, and guess who got to clean it up? I fell when standing back up from cleaning the floor. I want to scream, I want to cry, and I want to stop being dizzy. I really wanted to say I just want to quit, but that isn't true, I am just at the end of my rope.

I can't survive the dizziness, the ringing in my ears, and the feeling if being off balance 24/7.

If the epley helped that's a great sign! I had BPPV a few years ago and had to have the epley several times before it took care of my BPPV. In fact after the 4th epley my vestibular therapist told me to do it at home everyday for a period of time. That is when the crystals finally stayed in place.

If you do have BPPV then what you have is curable.
