At Wal Mart buying school supplies. School starts back Monday

Have been staying with a friend for a couple of days in Huntington Beach.It's been very hot and humid here.Been to wife's grave in El Toro.Always a tearful goodbye.Tomorrow starting at 4 a.m.I'll be starting the long drive home.Don't like to be caught in traffic going through Los Angeles.

 

A list, I felt like I was buying supplies for an Army.
Cleenex, hand sanitizer, anti bacteria soap, clorox wipes, Lysol spray, dry erase markers---- and that was just for the teacher.

Every summer I go to DC with mom and younger brother to visit my older brothers grave and every year it gets harder to turn around and get back in that car to leave.

My mom will be burried with him one day as we have 2 plots but in many ways I often think of buying a whole family plot but have not done so yet.

Taking a break figuring out what I'm up to doing next...sighs.

 

Just got home.Took me 11 hours to drive.I didn't drive straight through.I stopped at Pea Soup Anderson's in Buellton for lunch and gas and stopped a couple of times to take a short nap.This has been a very long day.I'm exhausted.

Yes I know how it is.My parents are buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx.I haven't been to their graves in ages.I feel their souls are in Heaven,that's all that counts.

 

Sitting on the recliner, dizzy, watching these dogs playing rough. Sighs.
