In formal poll here. Did anyone wear orthodontic elastics as part of orthodontic work? Were you given a retainer to wear once the braces were off? Do you still wear the retainer? I see improvement in my hearing in the morning and wear my retainer during the night. Wondering if the retainer is causing a benefit.
Yes I had the old-school braces with elastics. I had a retainer on the bottom teeth only that was actually glued to the inside of the back of my teeth. Kept it on for years (didn't want my teeth to revert back). Got it taken off about 4 yrs before any Meniere's symptoms.
