So strange what happened. I was fine all day but my stomach has been off for the last few days, but did a lot of shopping and running around and then went to my dads, we had to fix his shower and replace the shower head. Me and him were watching TV while my husband was working on the shower and all of a sudden I got so dizzy. I started getting real scared I always do when I feel like that and not having any vertigo for over a year it was pretty surprising how I was feeling like any second I was going to spin. I always carry acyclovir with me so took one quickly, we left shortly after and I got extremely nauseated. Got home felt sick to my stomach and so woozy so I also took benedryl 20 ML which is= to 50 mg. I am pretty sure the AV and bendryl stopped it in its tracks, woke up today with such a bad stomach and no appetite and coated tongue nauseas and at times light headed and muddle headed as if my sinuses are involved too. So it seems I have a stomach virus. I don't feel well but the pending vertigo feeling is gone but on and off louder tinnitus than usual. Usually when I get sick or feel like I am coming down with something I take an extra AV but this took me by surprise so I didn't increase.

My stomach being off for a few days prior did not alert me because I always have something going on with my stomach between IBS, lactose intolerant and gall stones, it didn't alert me that some thing was about to hit.

    Such fun this disease

Even people without MM get vertigo from a virus sometimes. I remember having a stomach flu about 30 years ago and I couldn't stop the room from spinning. So could it have been a bug? I think once our ears have become fragile, then we are even quicker to feel it.

Whatever it was, I am glad you are on the mend. Hope you feel good soon.

That's true June on all points you made. Thank you for pointing them out. I hope I do feel better soon but I'm glad so far the pending vertigo feeling is gone just sick to my stomach all day and hardly been able to eat.

I am so sorry that this episode has happened. Absolutely a virus could cause the issues; you could have potentially got somewhat dehydrated with the nausea.

    I hope tomorrow is better!

Thank you nicmger I appreciate your good wishes. I think I am a bit better so far but when I do eat something like a piece of dry toast my stomach doesn't seem to like it but not as bad of a reaction as yesterday, and I get a little dizzy too after I eat something, but then it subsides. I guess it will take a few more days to get back to normal.

Thank you Fair2partlycloudy I appreciate your well wishes. Right now the nausea eased up which feels so good not to have that feeling. But I will need to eat something soon to keep my blood sugar up so I hope it doesn't come like his has whenever I eat something. Which has been just toast or a little applesauce or a few bites of a banana.
