I'm starting to have an enlarged prostate.I've also had erectile dysfunction for a few years now.I'm now taking Sildenafil 20 mg.tabs about 40 minutes before having sexual intercourse.Watching this short video seems like an easy solution but I'm not sure I can physically do this.Have any men on .org tried this prostate treatment method?
I'll have to check and see if there are any training centers for this prostate treatment in my area.

Yesterday I walked 5 miles (very hilly) instead of biking. The weather was iffy, too many rain clouds around. Just as I returned home the sky opened up and it poured. I made the right decision! Today the sun is out and it is suppose to hit 78 degrees. 8) My plan is to bike and play golf. Come home and have grilled salmon and asparagus. YUMMY!! Have a great day everyone.

I probably wouldn't have posted my enlarged prostate problem here had Intrepid's topic was Women's Health and Fitness, but she didn't.She posted a general topic which I assume to mean for men and women. As for me posting in the living room, maybe Intrepid should've posted her topic in the living room as you BumbleBea may not feel that this topic is not appropriate for the porch.I personally feel it is,but that's jmo.

    Remember Syrio Forel?

Say no to anyone who tries to kill your spirit, shoot down your plans for healthful eating, or provide you with excuses as to why you should not get out there and move your body. Tell them, "Not today!" Today, get up and face a challenge, build strength and sharpen your focus.

5-mile run for me later and I am looking forward to it. Have a peaceful Sunday; spend it with someone who cherishes you and renews your spirit.

Please don't be offended that's not what I meant. I just thought this thread was more about improving ones health and fitness, such as exercise, eating healthier and such. It seems that medical problems are mostly discussed in the living room from what I've read. It's not a male/female thing, I think this thread is more about improving our health and fitness. Not health issues.

Turned out to be a great day. Went for a 15 mile bike, worked in the garden, mowed the lawn and played golf. Perfect ending to the weekend. Hope everyone had a day like mine. Feeling complete.

Good to read that redwing! I ran hill intervals with a friend this morning and my quads were trembling after an hour of that. It felt awesome. My reward was a couple of hours at the pool later. I have a nice dinner waiting for me and it's going to be an early night. Like you, I am very grateful for today.

    Bonjour!

I read this part in an article in the Huffington Post today (I did not write any of it) and it pretty much sums up what i believe it means to live a fearless life, even with MM, and take care of ourselves:

First, eliminate these words from your vocabulary:

    1. I can't
    2. If
    3. Doubt
    4. Try
    5. I don't think
    6. I don't have the time
    7. Maybe
    8. I'm afraid of
    9. I don't believe
    10. It's impossible.

Omitting these words is not enough. A sports team needs more than just a good defense to win; it also needs a powerful offense. So, mobilize your own offensive assault with the words you choose.

Build positive mental connections and commitment by using these power builders:

    1. I can
    2. I will
    3. Expect the best
    4. Commit
    5. I know
    6. I will make the time
    7. Positively
    8. I am confident
    9. I do believe
    10. All things are possible.

The power of your actions is preceded by the power of your words. Speak with power to bring out the best in yourself and others.

Go forth and be brave my friends. You CAN and you WILL take control of your health, wellness and fitness. Start right now :)

    おはよう! (ohayo)

My work out last night kicked my b.u.t.t. as it was all lower body. I slept the sleep of babies last night and woke up feeling terrific. Today is most likely rest day and I think the pool awaits me after work. Hoping for a clear blue sky later.

Do something good for yourself today. Get that crockpot out and cook a healthy meal for dinner. The farmer's markets are so full of amazing fruits and vegetables right now; I love this time of the year.

    Smile :)

I started tracking stuff with an app called Cardio Trainer on my droid in May, 2012.

I just went past 2,000 miles this week! 1,093 workouts, 268343 calories, and 2,002.7 miles...

That's awesome steeler, congrats!! I just finished a 10 week challenge with my health insurance. I get a $75.00 reward for charting my workouts, $$$ great incentive. Whatever works, get it done.

Today my intent was to go to spin class in the morning. I kind of burnt out from Monday's workout so I changed my workout to a round of golf and a 5 mile walk this evening. Another beautiful day in NH so it was a treat to be outside all day. Hope everyone got their workouts in today. Tomorrow the plan is another H.I.I.T workout followed by yoga. Hope your day was as good as mine :)

PS Ate healthy too, turkey burger with mushrooms and onions, fresh grilled asparagus, yummy.

wait a second, that can't be right. 1,093 workouts in 2 years? That's 1.5 a day, every day... I know that ain't right!

double checking, it must be May, 2010 when I started the app.

I just spent close to 3 glorious hours at the pool after a long work day. I'm like a lizard under the sun. I love it. It melts my cares away. Morning run before work tomorrow and I think I will do sprint intervals to wake up and feel the energy.

Hi steeler! Welcome to my favorite thread.

    Glad to be here!

I double checked my app history - it was May 23rd, 2011 when I started tracking miles on my phone. 2,002 miles walked, jogged, or biked in just over 3 years!

Today is National Running Day! I'm buying myself new running shoes. I keep wanting to try new brands and funky colors but end up going back to my beloved Brooks. My local running store is having a 25% off sale on shoes and I have a $10 gift card so I hope to get a good deal.

Get out there and run a half mile or a mile or walk it. Honor your body and the fact that you CAN exercise, not that you have to. I slept real well last night and will get my miles in this evening.

Yes you DO have time to get it done today!

It is PERFECT pool weather here and I am so tempted to not work out. I have 45 minutes of strength and then just 3 miles of run afterward. I know I will feel great when it's done. Nothing beats that kind of sweat!

My meals were also good. I don't deprive myself of anything but lately I just haven't felt like indulging in treats. There is so much delicious fruit available this time of the year.

Good to see you here Philosopher.
