Hi All I've dabbled with music for years now but never really taken it that seriously. I used to play guitar in a funk band when I lived in the UK but moved to piano for various reasons and now just play very basic jazz for jam sessions in a little club near me in Spain. I can normally hear ok with one ear but the trouble with only having one is it's hard to pick out the different instruments even though you can hear the general sound, so for instance it's hard to follow a double bass player. At times I got almost totally deaf so had to leave one group last year but then things got better and I'm with another now and hanging on in there. Anyway, I was just wondering what other musicians we have on the forum and if so, what you do to cope? Vince

Playing musical instrument affects my MENIERES That keeps it in the medical aspect but also reaches some who don't browse this section. Good Luck, I'm sure you'll get the answers you need.
