Nice, Good stuff Red. Tonight i want Baltimore to beat Pittsburg, if for nothing else my mom is having a hard time watching her Orioles loose every night, so maybe the Ravens can lift her spirits a little. You can take mom out of Baltimore but you can't take Baltimore out of mom. I think its that whole small city working class background thing that she came from that makes her both passionate and loyal to her teams. I guess people in Green Bay feel the same way about the Packers. Same kind of connection with mom and Baltimore.
Well All my Teams Stink Orioles--- Mlb Dolphins--NFL Ga. Bulldogs--- college Awful, just awful!!! My kids like Football, Soccer and Basketball. So their Happy because the Falcons look like they are for real. I am sure they will wear their Matt Ryan Jersey's to school tomorrow. How did your team do this weekend?
College Football : NC State Wolfpack looked mediocre against a real team, got some things to work on and can have a good year (by their standards) if they really want it. NFL : KC Chiefs - Difficult schedule so far and they just look like it's going to be a long year with that O-line. I also follow and pull for the Skins (work in progress) and the Cardinals (lost a tough game to a good team today). MLB : KC Royals - Great year, starting Pitching is a mess and no true Closer... I hope they get to play the Yankees and let's see what happens.
yep, but you guys still have Tommy boy up there and until he retires, i will live in jealousy. He is the GOAT Greatest Of All Time! My upset pick of the week is the Redskins beat the Falcons. If for anything else i am tired of my 7 year old telling me every Sunday night before bed "daddy your team stinks"
am i the only one glad the Yankees lost last night in the Playoffs. I want to see the Royals and Mets. But i have a strange feeling it is going to be the Dodgers and the Blue Jays.
Always glad to see the Yankees lose, just wanted to see KC be the the team put them out. That and the Astros will give KC a lot harder time advancing I think. If I had to put money down it would be on the Blue Jays. Pulling for the Cubs tonight.
How about those Cubs!!!!! I have a partner in Chicago and one in Boston and they are always going back and forth about who has the better park and fans. Cubs and Wrigley or Boston and Fenway. They laugh when I say Go O's
Tom Brady is the man!!!! Loved watching the Cowboys go down at home. I can almost sense a Packers/Rodgers. Pats/Brady Super Bowl------ talk about a ratings bonanza Don't count out Matt Ryan, he is really good and they have weapons everywhere like Julio Jomes . Go Dolphins.......... Lol
If anybody is watching the baseball playoffs have been exciting. My partner in Chicago could not be more excited. He took the train down to Wrigleyville to watch the game in a sports bar next to Wrigley Field. He is an older gentleman in his 70's and for some reason calls me son, I got 14 text messages from him during the game and each one began with the word Son!!! I told him if the Cubs make it to the World Series I will drive to see him and experience a once in a lifetime moment with him.
I only have one team that I follow that looks like they have a clue what they are doing so I'm probably more pumped up than usual (go Royals!), but overall I'm really loving the MLB playoffs this year. Gotta like the Underdogs winning, hope it's KC vs Chicago for the WS and I'll be pulling for the Royals of course but I won't mind seeing the Cubbies win it at all.
