Just thought it would be appropriate my condition, especially those considering antivirals and John's of Ohio regimen. Let me preface this by saying, it is still a short time into the treatment. Just to reiterate I have had Meniere's about six or seven months. I was tested and diagnosed about a month ago. I started the regimen of supplements right about a month ago, and the antivirals a week later. In the six months prior to diagnosis, I never went more than a couple of days without symptoms. In about a week after starting I still had some symptoms, plugged ears, light headed, ringing, some brain fog. The symptoms began to get better after that first week. A few good days here, then a bad day. At this point I have not had any symptoms, with the exception of some slight ringing in my ear occasionally, for eleven days. Again this is still very premature into the treatment. But I thought I should mention it for those who have not tried these options. Also I forgot to mention my hearing has returned to what I would consider normal, in the effected ear. Thanks for listening, Mark
Hi, mzwern. Wow, this is looking really good for you. I hope it just keeps getting better. My symptoms are similar to yours, but unfortunately I have not been as lucky. Which John of Ohio supplements are you taking?
I am so glad to hear that you are noticing a positive change! I will be starting antivirals next week for the 2nd time. I had a bad reaction the 1st time so I will start at a much lower dose, slowly increasing it as my body adjusts. I am also slowly adding the JOH regimen. Have you also been using the glutathione nasal spray and taking the Vitamin C that you mentioned in your original post? Thanks so much for the update, Mark. Keep them coming
Great news Mark! fingers crossed you feel better and better as time passes. The longer I've been on antivirals the better I feel. I had MM for 47 years before starting acyclovir 3 years ago and Jan 2013 was my last vertigo attack, so far.
I have been using everything but the glutathione. Can't stand the smell of it. Should add that I maintain a maximum of 1500mg's of salt daily. Also I still have my two cups of coffee in the morning. Refuse to give that up. Mark
