This past Sunday a camera crew with a female reporter videotaped an NFL locker room and the nudity of the players.

Here is the question, if women want equal access to the players and the locker room as their male counterparts than and everything that comes along with it including naked players in the showers, training room, players getting undressed and dressed in front if their lockers all the while askun g questions and doin gnome interviews, then my question is why are men not permitted to do their jobs in a womens locker room. Such as the US womens soccer team, WNBA, softball ect......

It is a touchy subject but players have been saying for a long time no women in the locker room after games as a locker room is their sanctuary and it may not be the best place for women as things get tense, heated and not to menation privacy issues?

So if women reporters are allowed in men's locker rooms after games why not allow men in a women locker room after games?

You can't have it both ways!! I am all for equality in everything but privacy issues should be considered.

Interesting topic and issue in the news

  2. It would be hard to turn down. ;)

I do agree tho that "not allowed" go both ways.

Coming from a background where my father was a football coach and I had 3 brothers believe me I have no desire to be inside a mens locker room. I have seen enough "balls" to last me a lifetime!!

    Seriously, I agree with you!

Oh Red, you make me smile.

Listen if the women want to do it, good for them. I don't think I'd mind.

As for men visiting women's locker rooms...it'll happen or women visiting men's locker rooms will cease.

I do think for both sexes that environment may be a bit too distracting to get a good interview that could maybe wait for when the athletes leave the locker room.
I'd be distracted and I wouldn't be looking at balls.

    Good stuff

I don't think it's a womens issue or a man's issue I think that it is a privacy issue. I can only imagine pouring into an open locker room 10 minutes after a very competitive game with elite athletes can make one feel uncomfortable especially in an NFL locker room.

I agree with Bea, maybe give the players 30 minutes to shower and get dressed and then allow the media in for access. Or have a separate media room where players can coke in and answer questions.

Not have someone, man or woman shoving a microphone in a players face at this locker next to the showers, saunas, training table and a butt naked teammate dressing in the locker next to the interview.

I know if I were a woman athlete I would not want men having total access to my locker room looking for interviews.

My stance, give the athletes a certain amount if time to get showered and dressed and then let the media in.

Where does personal privacy start and where does access begin.....tough question, one that may be headed to the courts.

    You bitch!!!

    j/k

Actually the first meetings and time schedules make it imperative that this area is the first meeting.
Then there's the second state on his way home...I don't know if he meets someone there...

    And THEN there's you. HA!
