How to Make First Posts Here

From the home page, click on one of the rooms.
Over to the right, under the search box, you will see New Topic in a dark box.
Click on it to get to the Start New Topic page.
Type the name of your topic in the subject line.
Under that, you can change the message icon if you want to.
Type your post.
Click on the Post box on the right at the bottom of the page.

Perhaps they are not registering first and awaiting clearance to post?

 

I think one needs to register before one can even post. I believe "guest" can only read.

 

You have to register, and if I remember correctly, open the link in the registration email. If they register and don't see the email have them check their spam folder. Possible it was flagged and sitting in there.
