My son got engaged on Thanksgiving Day! We all had champagne to make our Thanksgiving toasts and my oldest started. He said some wonderful things that he was grateful for and at the end he turned to his girlfriend and was telling her how happy she makes him, etc. Then he got down on one knee and in front of us all asked her to marry him. Then his oldest son said he was happy that his dad found someone who makes him happy and the youngest told her she makes them happy, too. She was surprised beyond belief and never saw it coming. It was a wonderful moment.
