Are you willing to try anything? I have tried the antivirals and seemed to be doing really well and then back to square one. I, for one, will do just about anything to get rid of this! Has anyone heard of this guy?? http://www.thenewknowledge.com/help-for-menieres-disease.html I talked to him and he claims he can help me. I have a free treatment today to see if there is any improvement. I will keep you posted. I am hesitant because I can't find much about him on the internet. Anyone else tried energy healing with results??
I hope it helps you but I am very leery especially when he says he treats and cures the cause of Meniere's when doctors/scientists/researchers etc do not know the cause. Be careful.
here are some studies https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_medicine#cite_note-Astin-9 Scientific investigations[edit] Distant healing[edit] A systematic review of 23 trials of distant healing published in 2000 did not draw definitive conclusions because of the "methodologic limitations of several studies".[9] In 2001 the lead author of that study, Edzard Ernst, published a primer on complementary therapies in cancer care in which he explained that though "about half of these trials suggested that healing is effective" he cautioned that the evidence was "highly conflicting" and that "methodological shortcomings prevented firm conclusions." He concluded that "as long as it is not used as an alternative to effective therapies, spiritual healing should be virtually devoid of risks."[10] A 2001 randomized clinical trial by the same group found no statistically significant difference on chronic pain between distance healers and "simulated healers".[11] A 2003 review by Ernst updating previous work concluded that more recent research had shifted the weight of evidence "against the notion that distant healing is more than a placebo" and that "distant healing can be associated with adverse effects."[46]
Please tell us what dose of antivirals failed you. It's important to process the failures as well as the successes to see if a pattern emerges.
good point scott, I looked back at her posts and she was taking way to small of a dose. Not even close to 3000 mg of Valtrex, unless she started to and didn't post about it. hopefullstill if the antivirals were helping on such a small dose I would suggest going back on them on the proper dose for Meniere's, if you weren't taking 3000 mg a day of Valtrex.
I had my "freebie" with the healer. Then I called back as directed today for the follow up. I told him I felt no different. I questioned why there was not more on the web about him and he said we were not a good match. He charges $800 a month and it is supposed to take a few months. That is out of the question for me. I started on JOH 5 months ago and my PCP will only give me 500 mg./day of the Valtrex. I was doing well with the supplements and that dosage. I had a fall on Nov. 12 and hit my head really hard. (still hurts) that really made my MM flare up. I increased the lysine to 4500 a day, but I am in misery. That is my update. right now I am crying all the time. I am in despair and quite frankly ready to just stop living.
that could be why 500 mg is far from what it is needed. I am sorry you cant get someone to write a script for you. Did you get your head checked out after the fall? MRI etc etc?
ok good. Maybe once the bruise heals your MM will subside and you will be doing better again. Hang in there I know it gets tough I have MM for 50 years, and I understand, we all do, but stopping to live is permanent, your symptoms most likely are temporary, most of us found what works for us. There are many more options to try.
Can you go back to your dr with the protocol for a/v and request to try a 3 month regime at the correct dosage? Also, since things are worse since you fell, you may find some relief with Nucca. You also need to talk to your dr about prescribing something for depression until you can get to a better place. Sometimes it just takes "something" to break the cycle. Then with some relief more follows. Good luck. Don't give up.
Thought I would give you an update. As I said, I was doing really well with the JOH and 500 mg. Valtrex until the fall and bump on my head. I was in a constant state of feeling the ear fullness, roaring in my ear, my head felt like it was in a vice, headaches (uncommon to me). I tried 2 chiropractors who said they did cranial work and was disappointed. I am a retired chiropractor and use an Activator for my adjustments. I was determined that my cranial bones had shifted causing my grief. I kept moving them on my own, using my intuition and on Sunday I actually felt movement and suddenly my ear was better, I could see better and the feeling of my head being in a vice disappeared. I am doing much better now...continuing to heal. Happy dancing. ;D
forgot to add I went to the dispensary and got hemp oil which I am taking 3 times a day. supposed to kill viruses and fungus.
Hi, glad you're doing better now. Can you post a link here of a youtube video of the adjustment you did so we can look into it more?
Also I would not do that distant healing thing sounds absolutely rediculous. I'm usually open but this one takes the cake. Also a lot of people have told me to my face yes I can help you, after a few hundred nothing came out of it and "you're a special case". So don't buy it, it merely sounds like a placebo effect he's selling at $800/month, jesus.
I did the adjustment on myself, based on where the impact was and what I felt shifted. It would not pertain to anyone else. It was my unique situation.
Looks like a predator on misery for monetary gain. He claims he has the answer to every illness even terminal illnesses. Steer well clear unless you like giving your money away.
