Special Christmas Eve party for grandsons this sat since sons ex has them Christmas Eve and that's the day we celebrate. Now they'll have their own Christmas Eve with their aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Special day just for them. Christmas Eve hosting a party for all my adult kids instead of going up north to SILs house and being with her family. Christmas Day, my son is hosting and his wife's family will attend. We're all catering, ( so much easier and actually cheaper.) of course we all make a dish or two, too. Thank goodness hubs and I have our quiet News Years Eve because all the kids may be going to Atlantic City. It's hard to get things done when you need to rest every hour or so. So looking forward to this weekends first party!
No big plans here. Kids will be up at 7:00 and it will all be over by 7:30. Mom and Brother will come over for Christmas dinner, but that will be all.
It's not WHAT you're doing as much as who you spend time and make moments with. BD- not like you to be so pessimistic.
Just not feeling it this holiday season. I just feel the consumerism has taken over the holiday season. As I say. The I phone, I pad, I deserve society is alive and well. I don't want my kids raised like that. Very sad and it will not end well.
