I started the Meniett device on Dec. 11 after getting tubes put in my ears on Dec. 8th. I had 2 slightly dizzy days, but no vertigo until Dec. 28th. Then without ANY warning, I was hit with a Super Bad Vertigo Attack. I used to have some warning of it coming on with dizziness first. Anyway, it hit so fast and hard I thought maybe I was having a stroke or something instead of Meniere's. After the nausea and vomiting I was able to make it to the couch, and from there for an hour, I made it to bed, it lasted about 4 hours. I also had some vertigo on the next night, dizzy when I went to bed, but able to sleep after taking Ativan.
Is there anyone out there who has experience with the Meniett device. I have 3 more weeks before I can send it back with a full return. I am still taking acyclovir and JOH. I will confess to eating more surgary foods during the holiday season since I was feeling so much better, even stronger until the attack, now I am back to feeling weak and having wobbly days again, I am supposed to work Saturday and Sunday at long term care facility, I will see how that goes.
I will continue with the device for now, the meniett device website just talks about the good it does, I will see how the next 2 weeks go.

Could easily be the foods. I used to be a wreck after peanuts. I'd Go to migraine diet and stay on the antivirals at high dose for at least six months before calling it quits.
