Antivirals stopped working

    Dr. Gacek would disagree about the efficacy of valacyclovir vs acyclovir. The former is more effective. Also, at least one person here (probably more) has mentioned famvir.

    Valtrex or the generic valcyclovir crosses the blood brain barrier quicker and stays in your system longer.

    Sharing again if the meds stop working, highly recommend checking to see if the script was filled with a different manufacturer. For me it made a huge difference when it was filled with Milan vs Northstar. (valtrex generic)

    Great point! In fact, I've yet to meet anyone who didn't find some relief after taking high doses long enough and making sure they had the right brand and antiviral. I'm sure there are some, but it's rare.
