As I have mentioned I am on an investigational TMC formula for my food allergies. The Doctor changed the formula and eliminated 2 of the herbs and replace them with 2 others. There are 9 herbs altogether in each dose.

It seems the 2 new herbs are affecting my Meniere's when I take a whole pill, if I take 3/4 of one pill once a day I am okay .
I am supposed to take 1 pill, 2 times a day.

I researched the 2 new ones and besides them treating inflammation, stomach issues, immune issues, viruses, antibacterial, they are also used for treating HVS.

My question is, do you think my almost vertigo attacks from the new formula is an effect like some get when first starting antivirals? The virus is battling with them and giving off nucleic acid so its making me feel worse, although the virus seemed to be in a latent state before the new formula, I have had no symptoms. And if I stop taking the herbs for a day the feeling goes away.

Or do you think it is promoting the virus. I will ask her Monday, I hope she will know, but I am unnerved by feeling this pending vertigo feeling. I haven't actually spun yet but was very close to it.
I didn't take the herbs today and I feel fine.

I am not sure if one or both are the culprit, but I was fine before she changed the formula and was taking a much higher dose, the other 7 herbs are the same as before.

Vicki, I'm not familiar with either of those botanicals, so can't help with any useful info. As you will, keep us posted.

Personal opinion.....doesn't matter. The fact is you have been GOOD until those two pills were started so they need to be stopped immediately. :D

hehe nicmger thank you only problem is those pills keep me from a possible anaphylactic reaction. So they are basically keeping me safe. I will go back to 3/4 of a pill tomorrow which I am fine with and talk to her Monday hoping she can make me the first pills I was on w/o those 2 herbs.
She customizes each patients protocol, so hopefully she can do this too for me.

This new formula the normal dose is 5 pills in AM and 5 pills in PM, that would just about kill me LOL but that was the dosage I was taking on the older formula with no problem.

Another option would be to try one of the pills and not the other.....see how it feels. then switch. Perhaps if you figure out if it is only one of them there is another option, or each on their own is not an issue it is the combo. Once you figure out you will have a better idea on how to attack.

thanks nicmger. all 9 herbs are in each pill. I don't have anymore of the ones I was taking with the original 9 herbs and she stopped making them. But she said he might be able to get them made for me last time we spoke. I hope she can because I am taking way to small of a dose with the newer formula and I am afraid it might not be as effective.
