Something strange to share with you all. I have a friend at work who knows when my attack is due just by looking into my eyes. She says that they get "glassy". On many occasions she told me to go home as she could see the eyes were very shiny. ( I was symptomatic) I ignored her a few times, hoping I would survive a few more hours at work before An attack would hit me. I never managed, I had to be picked up by my husband. Today she told me that my eyes are getting shiny. My ear is full and I know an attack is due in the nearest future. I still hope I will be able to survive another day at work without taking time off. On top of everything I feel like ripping my ear open! ???

What have you done to manage the attacks?

My Dr and another Menierian said, "all of us with Menieres have this look about us when we're not well.
Don't know about glassy eyes but if the way I look is any indication of when I feel that way I must look awful.
    No comfort in that.

I have been taking acyclovir for one and a half months and JOH regimen for two_On top of this I started vitamin C cleanse last Saturday . No results so far. I feel very depressed.
You are right BumbleBea, there is something about the way we look before an attack! And after of course, when your body is drained and weak!

My husband always knew when a migraine was happening as my eyes looked glassy.

I am taking acyclovir 3x800 made in UK. I got it online saying I have genital herpes. I stopped taking the one from India, just in case... I am still waiting to see my ENT (24 March) and I am going to show him dr Gacek's article. I am not sure if he will prescribe acyclovir but it is worth trying. Last week I did vit C cleanse and I have been taking high doses of the vit until today . I am not sure whether it is just a coincidence but today' s attack has been quite severe with vomiting. It has happened for the first time ( vomiting) since I have been taking acyclovir . I feel down, unwilling to live etc.
