Hi I'm afnord, I'm an artist and mom and wife and I live in the Charlotte NC area. I just got my diagnosis on Friday. I'm sort of floundering, and don't really know what I'm in for or what to expect or where to read or ...well...frankly I'm lost. Had the WORST episode of vertigo, nausea, and head pressure at the affected ear yesterday. Can barely hear today out of it. Realized I get car sick now...unless I'm driving. Doc sent me to ER for phenergan injection because the nausea was so bad. They decided I needed Valium which I have never taken before. I don't like it. Also after things calmed down I pretty much slept all day, is that normal? Anyway I'm sorry this post is all over, I'm sort of reeling (lol, see what I did there?)
You've made a great start just by coming here. The is The Front Porch and this is where we all kick back, get to know each other and even have some fun with people who understand. The best place to ask for medical help is in The Living Room. You can ask anything and someone will give advice or experience. I wish you well and hope you get the answers you seek here.
