Yes it causes hell. Nothing you can do that I am aware of. Just ride out the storm and be deligent about your salt, caffeine, and liquor intake during the time.

Happens to me, too. I also don't know anything to do (except all the things I do in general to try to make things better). It is nice to know that it will pass.

My symptoms tend to get better/worse as the weather changes, fronts come through, etc. I don't have classic Menieres symptoms - Mine are pretty constant - but I've heard/seen similar reports from others.

Pressure changes have always impacted me with this darn thing. And since I have no control over Mother Nature.... ;D

    Yep, me too.
I always know when it's going to rain or snow.
Snow plays havoc with my vision, as well.

You know what's causing it and I find that helps me deal with it better.

Since I'm out of remission while being on Antivirals for 3-1/2 years I now notice everything that was gone and it somehow makes it worse.
It's been that way since August. But lately I've been getting hit once a week with a bad episode, if that, and nowhere near what it was before. Dr. Says it could stop again. Nothing to do but ride it out as others have said. Just the other symptoms driving me nuts, especially the cognition.

Sorry to hear you're out of remission BumbleBea. Did you, or the pharmacy, change the the antivirals you've been taking to a different type? Seems that is an issue with a lot of people. Not that I'm on anything myself ...
