I started my new CIPLA pills 2 days ago. I started having symptoms again today. So i went to my pharmacist at Walgreens, and he said i wasn't the first person to complain about CIPLA. They were light blue pills.

He special ordered me the dark blue MYLAN pills that i'm used to taking. I'll follow up when they kick in.

Interesting. Each time mine was filled with Mylan they were white. And when I look it up it says online that the Mylan 1000mg are white oval.

For me, the white 1000mg Mylan did not work at all.

These are definitely dark blue. The pharmacist said they were Mylan. Now i'm confused. Maybe he was confused...lol

Here is one of the pages. I know for a fact that the Mylan tablets I received look exactly like this - since I still have part of the bottle.

Either way...if it works that is all that matters!

You are correct. I called the pharmacist and he corrected himself. It is this pill:

    Aurobindo Pharma is the manufacturer.

God, this whole generic thing is annoying! I'm going to ask my doctor for the brand name next time.

It looks like a LOT of folks are not happy with the white Mylan pills:

It is so frustrating. I received the Aurobindo brand that looked just like Northstar (dark blue but different numbers that I did not notice). I immediately felt different, looked at the prescription bottle and saw the Aurobindo manufacturer. Target immediately was able to order the Northstar brand and swapped it out. The Target pharmacist said that they were switching vendors and will be required to use the Aurobindo brand in the future. Now I have to go look for another pharmacy that carries it.
It is so crazy that we can't request the generic manufacturer brand. The Target pharmacist said that they have to stick with the vendor preference. I encountered that same answer at 3 other pharmacies in town. I am seriously considering finding a Canadian pharmacy to fill my request for the Northstar manufacturer or even the Brand name, Glaxo Smith-Kline. It would be cheaper and I would know what I am getting.
