Cognitive issues of MM scare me

I'm really scared of the brain fog. Sometimes I can't find a word, can't put my thoughts together easily, get confused easily, and forget I did something. This is more than a little freaky. I have to write notes, lots of notes and keep a very detailed daily agenda to stay on track. If a thought comes in my head that I need to remember I try to immediately write it down because it won't take long before it's gone and I can't remember what it was about. Didn't I read somewhere that there was a natural supplement/vitamin that can help with this? Does anyone know if the brain fog is permanent?

I'M 76 YEAS OLD AND HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH SEVERE-BILATERAL MENIERS SINCE I WAS 10. BRAIN FOG COMES AND GOES. HELP IT WITH A HEALTHY DIRT, LOTS OF REST, PLENTY OF FLUIDS. THROUGH IT ALL, TRY TO KEEP YOUR LIFE AS NORMAL AS POSSIBLE. NOT ALL ALWAYS EASY. :'(

There are many including ginko. But I firmly believe without any scientific proof the anxiety portion of this plays a role. I know when I.am.anxious my vocabulary is limited and non-retrievable. So I think that there is brain fog a physiological occurrence due to Meniere's (perhaps due to the brain fighting the ears misfiring) and anxiety.

Once again, consider vinpocetine for cognitive dysfunctions (brain fog). Quite remarkable stuff. Increases function-supporting oxygen to the brain, while maintaining O2 levels elsewhere in the body.

College kids have learned that popping 10 mg or so before a final exam increases knowledge recall (better grades).

Lot of other benefits. Info here: http://www.brainpower.org/research/vinpocetine.html

It definitely got better for me along with other symptoms when I got going with the AV drugs and JOH regime. Much more energy too! I just weed whacked my backyard last weekend. There are recent times when I would not have even dreamed of attempting such a thing.

As I reflect on this, I think that one way I am doing so much better than I was in the first year or so of this, is that now when things get bad, I do believe that they will get better.

Hi! I actually ordered the vinpocetine today and ordered ginko that is currently sitting on the kitchen counter with the l-lysitine and Skullcap. I'm having to buy just a few things at a time for JOH's regimen for financial reasons but thats ok. I should be able to order the rest on payday in two weeks. I would say I'd get it all when I get paid but my check for the past couple of weeks is going to be ridiculously invisible. I've had to take off some much work lately or had hubby to come get me at work a couple of times. I need to find a way to make money here. I groom dogs and like it but it just isn't fulfilling right now. I'm shocked she's not let me go at this point even though I'm an independent contractor there. I seriously can't lose my job.
