I just finished reading this book, it is a new book written by Michael Jackson's 2 bodyguards. Excellent book and very easy reading.

I have a newfound appreciation for Michael, in many ways he was so normal, yet so lonely, confined, frail, lost, paranoid yet soooooo talented and misunderstood.

You will have I read the book but in many ways I felt sorry for him after reading it. He wanted to be a normal person but his fame just would not allow it.

I cannot imagine not being so famous that one could not even leave their house for fear of being seen. In the end all he wanted was to be normal but his fame and talent simply would not allow it.

    A nice summer read.

I agree, a sick world we live in.

As his bodyguard said, in the end maybe it was best he passed as he could finally rest without as when he was alive he was simply a prisoner of this world and he simply could not outrun the vultures, which included many including his own family.

I read somewhere that Justin Bieber is selling his house in I think Calabassas,Ca.His neighbors couldn't be happier as Justin would get in his Lambourghini and race up and down on his street making loud noises from the cars' engine.I personally would like to see Bieber get deported back to his native country Canada.

I disagree that this is a sick or broken or twisted world. It's a wonderful and hopeful place where so many good things happen thanks to extraordinary people. You just have to choose where to put your attention and what to fill your minds with.

When I have time to read i don't waste it on what Justin Bieber is up to. None of his antics are known to me. I prefer to put my attention elsewhere. I am around teenagers a lot and the majority are well rounded, interesting young people. Again, there is no way I'd waste my attention on things/people/news that is not uplifting in some way.

    I don't know those people.

I like to be around people who uplift me, challenge me and make me a better person. That doesn't mean it is peachy roses; it means it is the part of the real world I choose to live in.

The only place this man could find peace and felt protected was on a stage or confined to his home, all he wanted to do was go to a park with his kids, go see a movie with them, take them to dinner ect..... But as Philosopher said, he could not move without pandemonium and he was dying inside just to left alone.

The talent we took for granted and eventually the parasites of society and the constant never ending
thirst for a story, harassment ect.... drove him to a place that the only way out was death.

I guess we all thought we knew Michael Jackson but as his bodyguards said "in the end he was just a normal person held hostage in a world he gave so much to, both musically and charity wise". He gave hundreds of millions of dollars to charity and yet we never heard a word about it, only the made up lies in tabloids.

Remember, this started when he was merely 5 years old.

Do you not have self esteem to uplift yourself without the needs of others to uplift you?

    No I don't think I am.
I can see you're refusing to answer my question.
I don't need the approval of others about how I feel because I have the final say about how I feel or how I look.

In that case, here is my answer. Nowhere is it indicated that being uplifted means a person has low self-esteem. If you look up the meaning of to uplift, it says "a morally or spiritually elevating influence."

I feel you misread my reply because you are interpreted it according to your parameters and not according to my intention. Arguing about it is useless because you will continue to think what you want.

    Have a good night.
