The Weber tuning fork test for Sensorineural loss

    Has anyone here had this done? The tuning fork placed on your forehead. If you hear it in the affected ear, it's considered Conductive loss. If you hear it in the opposite ear, sensorineural.

    Yes, wasn't sure what the doc was doing, so just answered his question as to where I heard it. I don't remember--that was 2008. But since I was told I had sensorineural hearing loss I must have heard it in the opposite ear.
