Sorry to see you had a vertigo attack Bea. I know I use to welcome an attack when my symptoms were at their worse. It relieved the pressure and after a day of rest I usually would be symptom free until the next one which could be days or weeks later. Hope you have a better day today!

That stinks, Bea. I'm glad it was a short one though. Of course none of them are good but the shorter the better. Good luck and enjoy lunch with your friends tomorrow.

    Drs appt.
I am now on Valcyclovir. She said to take 2 a day but gave me a script so that I can take.
    I'll be taking 3.
    Something interesting:
3 years ago was my last audiogram and showed 25% hearing loss in left ear and 5% loss in right ear.
Today the audiogram showed 5% loss in left ear and none in right at all.
The explanation is that my MM was very active then. That was before Antivirals.
I got decade on injections in each ear because...why not.
Waiting until tomorrow to call express scripts and check manufacturers.

Thanx for all of the support guys!

P.S. I made the drive up wonderfully.
After my appt, I met old friends for lunch, (we needed 2 tables and we were loud), went with my son to pick kids up at school and surprised them. Got to see them both play baseball and then we went out for dinner.
I made the drive home was fine as well.

I'm really tired but I'm just coming down from the excitement and my accomplishment. :)

The tired just caught up to me big time.
Called express scripts and the manufacturer is Mylan. I'm having my Dr send a new script requiring Northstar.

Fantastic day for you Bea! Congrats! Just curious, when did you get the shots for both ears? Previously or just this visit? Thanks!

I've had them done before. Early on and they helped but not for long.
She offered the injections because, "why not you're here, everything little thing you can do to get back to where you were can't hurt."
She does it in the office. Numbing agent for 10 minutes and then shots.
My vision seemed clearer right away, though.

Called express scripts and their manufacture was Mylan. I asked to change that to Northstar.
The Dr had to send them a new script requesting Northstar. I followed up and its straightened out. I can't wait for it to get here.

Apparently the Decadron shots didn't do anything at all.
    Caught a spin today.
I thought my problem was allergies again which she addressed but I think I also caught a sinus infection.
Called her and got antibiotics today.

This has been a wild ride for me.
I'm trying so hard to fight it. Any little bit of stress is setting my heart racing which I will address with my Psychiatrist and maybe increase dosage on the KLonipin, too. Maybe I've been on this dosage for so long that I need a higher dosage until I get over whatever this is.

Feeling down and trying not to show it.
My friends here are helping me so much.

    Thank-you

Hang on in there Bea, I don't know your whole story ( and I'm not about to read fourteen thousand posts in order to find it out lol) but I can see you've been on a bit of a ride!
Will be thinking of you and sending you virtual bucket loads of positive thoughts, many good days and pretty things :)

Sorry Bea. I said in one of my posts that one of the cruelest parts of this disease is the erraticness of it. You think you are safe and you get blindsided. I hope you recover quickly. Take care..

KLonipin got me through the day today.
If I started to feel "off" I'd just tell them I needed to go out for a smoke. That helped too.

I can rest all day tomorrow and I plan to.
