I tried the JOH supplements for several years but they didn't help me. I recently came across another site www.menieres-help.com and he gives a supplement plan that is based on building your immune system. He also gives a lot of information on different causes and triggers which most of us are familiar with but mainly I just wanted to know has anyone ever tried this? Here's the link for the supplements -

What dosage of lysine (per day) did you take during those seven years? An early version of my regime recommended a mere 1500 mg of lysine. That proved entirely inadequate. The current, most successful version of my regimen has a minimum of 3000 mg of lysine, and if needed, up to 4500 mgs. (I just got a report from someone who got no relief at 4500 mg, but got it at 6000 mgs. I don't have enough information yet to recommend that high dosage.)

(The current regimen is here: http://www.zoominternet.net/~kcshop/JOH.pdf )

I actually didn't take it seven years - I said several years BUT I did take it probably 3-4 years, I believe I did 3000 for awhile but then when it wasn't working went back to 1500.
I have tried antivirals with no success either.

Clearly, from dozens of people who have tried the regimen, 1500 mg seldom gives relief, and 3000 mg can give relief, but only after several weeks or momths (up to six months) of continuous use.

The same sort of dosage and duration effects occur with antivirals. Gotta take the maximum amount for an extended period. Herpes viruses simply don't just lay over and dissolve in a few days or so of treatment. They persist, as must those being treated.

"Going back to 1500" after 3000 mg did work was unfortunate. Opposite of what works.
