I wasn't approved for the name brand Valtrex. The generic by Ran Baxt gave me bad side effects. I asked my pharmacist for North Star manufacturing and was told the , pharmacy chooses who they have the best deal with. So that not going to happen and then I decided to call CVS and see what manufacturing they have for the generic of Valtrex , there is Mylan. I had it transferred and hopefully it goes through . Has anyone had good results with Mylan? I know one person wrote it fave them an issue .But has anyone had good luck with it. I hope it will turn out good and I respond well to it. I'm trying not to give up but it's hard I feel like my life is falling apart everyday. I just want rekief from this horrible ear pressure and vertigo. I miss being active .
I had NO success when my prescription was filled with Mylan. Target used to fill with Northstar. My local Costco will order it in for me.
We use express scripts with our new insurance. What a pain it was because their manufacturer was Mylan and my dr wanted Northstar. I guess they've never had anyone request a specific manufacturer before but we got it. Still hasn't kicked in yet. I remember you telling me June when I started the acyclovir. Two steps forward, one step back. I can't even walk now, I'm all over the place. Things like this take time as well. Here's hoping you get relief quickly.
I just called my local target and they did use Norhstar but not anymore. I called Costco and they have it as the manufacturer for 500mg not 1 gram so I will see if I can get a new prescription for it.
Hi, I told him to put its medically necessary and I hope he did. He told me he tried again with the reasons why I should have it even after they denied it. I guess because it's not recognized as something a doctor would normally prescribe for Mienere's disease it was not approved.
If you have the prescription itself for the 1000 mg/1gram just ask them to order it in for you. Or you could have them fill it with the 500mg and take 2.
I still have some "off" days, still thank God every day for a "good ear day, and not going dizzy". I hope you have similar success with the Northstar product.
