What have you learned today?

Not for me ladies, sorry but mine are perfect and they're big!

 

I'm sick of eating apples. Need to find a new fruit to munch on.

 

I have to lose weight.My blood pressure,the top number is now 146.

 

That my husband is nuts! He bought a beef tongue and plans to make philly cheese steaks out of it for some guys at work tomorrow. Not long ago they all had beef heart together. *gags*

 

Nothing really. It's been an uneventful day.

 

To not take benadryl and xanex at the same time. Or at least while one is still effective. I've slept non stop since I got home and am going to shortly go lay back down again.

 

When there's absolutely nothing you can do about a situation you adapt.

That I undoubtedly nag about the kids doing their chores too much. LOL Get them done when I ask you to and I won't nag.

 

that my dog puked on my blanket today and pee'd on my pillow yesterday.

 

I learned that it only takes one person bent on petty revenge to defame a persons character.

That you can't always count on some people, even family.

 

Ive often thought how lucky we are to be living where we are. You see we vacationed here with the kids our whole lives. Almost everything is within 15 minutes from my home yet I can walk to the grocery store. The Bay, the Beach, the boardwalk, trails, all so beautiful and so close.
It bothered me to go under the boardwalk and see that they've planked it so you can't walk through from one side to the other because of Sandy. I miss that but every catastrophe brings changes. I like to people watch, lol. I like to walk and see every bench honoring people who've donated with the proceeds going towards fixing the boardwalk. Some of the planks you walk on never names engraved as well. I find that touching. Driving home and seeing the sunset tonight was glorious especially from the top of the bridge.

Memories from today. It was a wonderful day.
