My wife is Hispanic and hates you know who. Whenever I watch him, she does not...on purpose. That being said, the positive, glass spilling over, surround myself with beautiful women message and pep rallies he gives, lifts my spirits. Weather he is full of shit or not, I'm beginning to realize why motivational speaking is a business, that is, if you have the gift of the tongue, can be lucrative. I'm finding that, I need things to lift me up lately, more than ever. This thread is definitely not meant to be political, but I think it speaks to why people follow certain individuals who can run there mouths like a faucet. Maybe I should join a church. Preachers use to bore the hell out of me as a child. I'm a registered democrat in case you are wondering.
Motivational speakers definitely have the gift of gab. Lots of people are good with words and provide motivation to other people. I think we all need to motivate each other here. I can certainly use it as I'm sure many of us here can. I am not one of those people that tends to have the right thing to say all the time. I do have good intentions though. I'd love to see this thread take off on how we can motivate each other. Those with the gift of gab, jump on in.
