Hello everyone I am a new user , My name is Matthew Shaw I'm currently 22 years old and I have been dealing with meniere's for 5 to 6 years now, lately I've been pretty good over the past few months. However I am from Australia and I would love to travel the world while I'm still able to, so here is the question I've been meaning to ask for a long time. How do you all cope with it overseas I assume it's almost the same as I do just in a different place. My main problem is that I can stress easy and being in a completely different place I don't want to freak out soon as I land. Any tips would be greatly appreciated, cheers, Matt
I forgot to add that I will be doing a lot of research before I go but I wouldn't mind getting some help from a local or two
Yeah the stress thing is something I've been dealing with, slowly getting better long as I have my medication on me those random attacks don't scare me as much
Nah I'm not going alone, going with my girlfriend and might meet up with some mates, hopefully when the time comes there's no problems
I have some. Me knowing that I wasn't alone helped me. Having that someone around that knows and understand what you're going through helps.
Thank you yeah it has become a tad easier when your friends and family finally understand, I'm hoping to look around the forums on here and on Facebook to see if I can make a friend and catch up with them when I travel
Good! Try to let us know how it's going, if you can. Have the best time ever and I'll be thinking of you. Take some GREAT pics!
