Hello All. I took some time off from the forum here to focus on getting better and I can say that aside from the ongoing tinnitus - I am more or less healed!
Sounds like one of those advertisement endorsements.

I know how much we all suffer from this - so I really wanted to email and tell you all.
And, it took only 3 sessions with the Bowen Technique and my numerous weekly vertigo attacks have stopped altogether. Stopped all medications, antivirals, laurglacillin, bioflavinoids, etc. This was back in early July.

Last week I went for a "maintenance" bowen treatment as I had an attack. Partially, I think, because I forgot how healthy I was - and in a moment of "forgetfullness" bought a chocolate ice cream and also listed to a very loud music concert. This resulting in severe vertigo and vomiting.

I have pasted a couple of web links - please, go and try it! It has made such a difference for me and a session is about $75
I only wish that ENT specialists would recommend it! Feel free to email me.

I tried Bowen. 3 sessions back in 2012.

It was very nice and relaxing, but made absolutely no difference to my MD. But everyone is different. Makes me wonder whether spontaneous remission sometimes gets confused with the efficacy of MD treatments?

Quite possibly. People go into remission, people seem to have it for some time and never again, etc.

That's the problem - There's no Meniere's test. You can't say, "I had X, I did Y, and now I've no X". Not that I'm saying you shouldn't try things and I'm happy for people that get relief no matter how you get it but correlation does not imply causation. There are probably multiple causes as well which makes it even more difficult. Chiro works for some? Well maybe they have a pinched nerve that's causing an inflammatory response near their ear. Antivirals? Maybe a virus is causing the endolymphatic sac to go into overdrive and cause it? Fungal .... same story.

Again, not trying to take away from the success reported here. I've been seeing a chiro myself as a couple of my vertebrae are out of whack and I'm going to try and get on AVs shortly. It's just impossible at this point to point to something specific.

Thank you all. But i spoke too soon. Had two very nasty attacks. It was great while it lasted.
I did switch ENT's who think it might be vestibular migraine. So looking into that now.
