Just wondering if anyone has tried going to a naturopath? this is my next step as I am sick of trying medications and either they don't work or make my symptoms worse or give me worse side effects. I am on Betahistine which is keeping my vertigo at bay but my tinnitus and hearing loss is worse. Going for acupuncture also. Any advice?

    Hi there,

Have you tried Gacek's antiviral protocol?

I have not tried a natureopath but - here is my experience so far. The big spinning vertigo spells started for me in about 2005 and I found this forum and started on the JOH regimen and the low salt and diuretics, plus - I found that an Atlas Orthogonal chiropractor helped me as much as anything else - then - after about 4 yrs. of no dizzyness or vertigo attacks at all. I had a very stressful event in my life where I just started eating a bunch of the real salty food that I loved - (Hotdogs and chips)- and the MM symptoms came back with a vengeance. So now I am paying the price for that indulgence. My AO chiropractor moved away (a 4 hr. drive now) but I am going to have to make that drive real soon. I am just starting on the anti-virals and am hoping for good results from them before my hearing is completely gone. I'm still on the JOH regimen and will be for the rest of my life. It really does help! But - I found out that just as JOH says - if you stop it, or cheat on some of the important ingredients - it will cost you and you will have to start all over.
