I was diagnosed with menieres disease about three years ago. I have been on diuretics since and had surgery back in march to improve my hearing. My hearing is still pretty shoddy but it's better than it was. Can any longterm individuals give me an idea of what the future looks like? Any feedback is appreciated.

I AM 77 YEARS OLD AND HAVE HAD MENIERES SINCE I WAS NINE. MY HEARING AND BALANCE ARE SHOT. I HAVE MANAGED TO LIVE A NOMAL LIFE WITH A GOOD EDUCATION AND GREAT CAREER. I AM VERY DISABLED NOW AND LIVE IN ASSITED LIVING. I FEEL SAFER NOW. MY NEPHEW HELPS WITH THE COST.

Take some time and do a lot of reading here. Different people have different experiences and many have found things that improved their situation.
