I think I am starting to come down with a cold and hopefully not the flu. Especially since it's going around work right now. Does a cold/the flu ever seem to effect anyone's vertigo and symptoms? The last couple days when I start getting worn down from working so much plus the cold weather and the start of this cold, but my vertigo seems to act up more. I have meclizine to help with the vertigo but it usually makes me tired when I take it, so now with everything else I don't want to take it and it make me even more tired than normal. what are some things that others try?

It made my vertigo exponentially worse. I take high dose vitamin c and haven't been sick in years.

How do you know it is the antivirals and not the high dose vitamin C that has helped with your mm/vertigo? Who's to say it is not one or the other or a combination of both?

THE FLU AND COLDS, NOT TO RULE OUT ALERGIES, DEFINITELY INCREASE VERTIGO A ND TINNITUS.

I did not start them at the same time. And when i tried C, i took much higher doses than what i currently take. Nothing helped my vertigo except antivirals.

    CB,
I noticed a marked increase in MD symptoms during my recent cold virus episode. It was a nasty 5 day cold virus with low grade fever and all the congestion. I did not change my JOH regimen. I only notice the increase vertigo for a one of those days. Unfortunately, it's getting harder for me to detect mild vertigo as I have started becoming used to it.

Colds, viruses, flu all affect mine. It's not pretty.
