    Hi--

I'd like to start trying the anti-virals. Can anyone recommend a doc in the Portland area that will prescribe these for me?

    Thanks

Most any GP will give it to you, bring in the study from gacek. Dont be a child, tell em you must have it and hold your ground. Why pay a snotty Ent $200 and have to beg like a fool. Take back the charge of your medical care from docs who only care about their own butts and not yours. God bless.

Fire your doctor if she or he doesn't give you what you need.

My GP refused to prescribe them so members on this forum said to fake shingles or genital herpes.

Haven't tried it yet. My husband get shingles so I was going to get him to ask for anti-vitals. You can get shingles without the blisters so would be easy enough to fake.

I have vestibular migraine and have always wanted to give antivirals a go (I also get BPPV which is proven to have a herpes component) but if they are prescribed 'off use' in Australia, it costs over $300 a month versus government funded $12.

Hi Gardengal, I have been well 3 months now. Even flew to Vietnam where i am now. I have been on GSK Valtrex 500 mg daily split into 2 doses and I do grapefruit seed extract nasal irrigation daily . I hope and pray that you are well also.
