A little bit of an update. I had my MRI today and should have those results in a day or two. In the meantime, the diuretics actually seem to be helping me. I am a bit surprised, I didn't have high hopes for them at all. It could be a random remission I suppose, but that would be a huge coincidence. I have felt so much better for the last week and a half. I've been on the diuretic for two and a half weeks. I can actually hear the dial tone on my work phone, which I usually never can.
What great news! Coincidnces are overrated. Keep doing what works. Over the years, reading on this board, there just seemed to be a 50/50 split on diuretics. For some they were very effective and for some no help whatsoever. I always thought that should be studied to see if it didnt reveal something about two different causes. But anyway, i am so glad they are working for you!
Woohoo! Dial tone! I was thinking also for you to ask him to let you just give anti-virals a try, but if the diuretics are helping that seems less important. Have you tried the magnesium yet? I have MAV, too, so I was interested in how that went. I can't take diuretics for some reason that I can't even remember right now. Maybe my allergy to sulfa drugs.
How do you post here? Glad you're feeling better. I too had an MRI yesterday which showed no abnormality. So I'll continue exercises and JOH.
