I'd love to hear what people with MM or MAV or any other chronic like to do for recreation when times are good. Maybe I'll get some new ideas. I'm in a mid winter rut!
I like to walk the dogs on the trails. I love to go and just shit on the beach. I enjoy reading. I'm trying to learn how to crochet a baby blanket. Of course being here for the support is wonderful.
i enjoy anything on the water. Fishing, boating, water skiing, surfing, jet skiing. i also love to take road trips.....i do not fly unless it is my very last resort. One day i am going to get a small RV and me and the Chief and kids are going to go see America for the summer. PS: i am able to do this because i had the laby. There was once a time it i could not even go get the mail or take a walk for fear of the beast hitting me at the wrong time. I was paralyzed by fear and anxiety. do not let this disease control your life. there are many people on this forum (most have left) who have zero vestibular function in either ear and use cochlear implants to hear that live very productive and near normal lives.
Good to hear you are able to do all those water activities, Bulldogs. I'm guessing the laby didn't mess with your balance. That's great! BumbleBea, Your typo was hilarious. Gave me a great visual!
it counts if it's fun! It's almost spring here so I've been getting out with long walks with the dog. I like to rubberneck other people yards and get ideas for landscaping and decorating. It's a bit early for that, but I get a kick out walking in the posh neighborhoods.
