We will be leaving from Ct. To Key West in two weeks. What do you recommend for the best route around these two cities? We will be in our 30 foot motorhome and don't mind driving west to avoid the cities and then back east below DC and get on 95. Any suggestions?
Hey Red, Have fun with that motor home. All depends on what time you hit those cities? I hate driving those cities in a regular car. The traffic I awful but even worse the roads are horrific in terms if quality. Don't beat up your motor home. I Always try to avoid major cities!!! My advice would be to go around the cities, see some of the beautiful countryside and pick up 95.
Ps....the roads from from DC to Richmond, VA. can be tough as well but manageable. Just lots of people/traffic on the roads.
From what I am receiving for tips the best way might be from CT take 84to 684 to 81 or 287 Tappan Z to 78 to 81....where are you in Jersey B?
