My mom died today this is her daughter typing this. It happened around 7 she was hit by a car as she was crossing the street to visit her moms house to receive her bday gift since her bday is tomorrow. I figured I would let everyone know that knew her. When I arrived on the scene with was 5 mins when she was hit she was unresponsive and had no pulse, it was said that she died instantly. I miss her very much, very heartbroken and I hope she found peace.

We captured surveillance that we have placed outside our home. She pressed the button at the crosswalk and had waited, we believe she started to cross at the yellow light mark and she was 2 steps away from the curb on the other side of the road when the 19 year old boy hit her with his car. From the video he appeared to be speeding and didn't see her until he hit. She suffered from a neck injury, and internal bleeding, which we believe instantly killed her. This is all we know for right now, hopefully this guy gets punished for what he has done, me and my family are devastated.
Devastating and i am devastated. I will miss her terribly but know she is looking down at me and i have a new guardian angel.
Leesa, your mom was an angel in disguise. I want you and your family to know she touched my life deeply and made such a difference in my life this past year. She gave me something to look forward to on dark days and was a comfort and she gave me laughter and smiles all the time. She is going to be deeply missed. I just talked with her yesterday and the day before. She was so sweet to me. I got the sense of a caring and loving person. She has given me hope to go on, to try and deal with this disease....no more complaining JimmyA!
Your MOM was a hero to many here . I have read all the post and all the comments speak volumes about who she was . Teresa and I are praying for you and your family . Rest assured she has made it to a much much better place full of love and peace. Larry
