I read an article that says that acupuncture is a good treatment for mm. Has anyone had this treatment? My doc doesn't recommend it.
I tried it too--and he was highly recommended. He really worked with me--had hopes of helping but finally told me--it evidently was not going to help! I do hope you have better results if you try it. It's quite costly--and insurance doesn't cover any of it--at least not mine.
I've seen an acupuncturist and I found it helped with the tinnitus and the fullness feeling. It had no impact on the severe vertigo. It was relaxing as well. So much will depend on the acupuncturist--it really is a skill and levels vary tremendously.
Acupuncture is a common method to increase blood circulation in north Asia, and it works for milder cases. Near-infrared light therapy probably works better. http://cooperativemedicine.com/laser-therapy/ear-disorders/ Using infrared bulbs, we can take infrared sauna every day at home to keep good circulation.
