I tried to windsurf for the first time and made a complete fool of myself. When your own kids tell you, " daddy you stink at windsurfing" you know it was bad! Talk about tough work, at Least my six year old came up and said "daddy for an old man you are pretty cool" We shared a good laugh as father and sons today.
Beautiful weather. Spent the day with the grandchildren. I'm getting pretty good at batting a baseball!
Lowered the temp on the spa so the grands could use it like a swimming pool. They love the jets, the waterfall and the colored lights.
grilled a nice sirloin with some grill-baked potatoes and fresh veggies from the garden, had a nice glass of Cabernet with my lovely wife, and talked to both daughters on the phone for a good long time...! it is brutally hot and humid down here today - but I am nonetheless grateful to be upright, able to move around and relatively symptom free ... Only the persistent raging tinnitus and a slight pressure behind the ear.
My daughter Amy and I drove down to a fish restaurant directly across from Stanford U.and had Fathers Day lunch.We made reservations before arriving but still had to wait about 20 minutes.I had lobster tails with asparagus tips and Amy had Mahi-Mahi with french fries. After lunch we took a drive on the Foothill frwy.and then about 4 p.m.she drove me home.She then drove across the bay to her home.Very nice day today.It always is when I spend time with my daughter.

Bad Boy! Lol Today I saw Oto. Ear infection cleared. May need a surgery in Oct. if one tube hasn't fallen out and if the hole where the other one was hasn't closed. No biggie.
A day where family and friends picked up the slack for me and made me feel good about our weekend get togethers. Lots of food and good times.
Did some shopping online for exercise CDs. Went for a walk and did good. Heated up leftovers and only ate the veggies.
Admin Post It was a difficult day due to communication issues with my employees, but managed to navigate that successfully by the end of the day although it set me behind on our magazine work. Still, I managed to escape at the end of the day to Fanning Springs state park to do a quick run in the woods and then cooled off with a swim in the natural springs. That always feels so fucking good.
