I am scheduled to take a two+ hour flight in less than two weeks. I've not flown when my symptoms were as strong as they.ve been the last few months. Can anyone provide me with insight as to what to expect?

It probably won't be nearly as bad as your fears. Take something right before for ear pressure or sinus congestion. I also used to suck on some ginger candies for nausea and to pop my ears.

I just flew last week and I was fine but had my Lorzepam if needed. Try not to stress too much stress is a trigger for me just relax and enjoy your trip!

Well I got through the flight ok. Cant say I wasnt "aware" that things could change, but I live with that every day, travel or no travel. However, today I'm feeling a little "off". have that familiar feeling of something not quite right. It was a stressful few days prior to actually traveling. (we live 6 months in FL and were making the trip back to our summer/fall home). Getting the house/garden ready for our vacancy and having to deal with shipping issue with the car transport folks to name a few. Anyway, I think I read that some people increase their L-Lysine during stressful times. Is that true? I"m still on JOH and max VAL. During this month of April I have only had one significant attack. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thank you in advance.

I increase my Valtrex during stressful times. I simply don't believe that a certain dose of a certain drug is the correct answer every day of the year no matter what occurs that day. Just bump up that lysine or whatever you can during rough days.

Thanks Scott. I really appreciate that you are so attentive to this site even though your symptoms have been eliminated or drastically reduced. I'll increase the Val to grams today and try to work in another L-Lysine as well.
