I just found a Canadian Pharmacy that can send me bethahistine much cheaper than here in the USA. Anybody buys it from Canada here?
Although it doesn't eliminate all my symptoms, I believe it has played a key role in keeping the violent vertigo at bay.
North Drugstore in Canada has 252 16mg Betahistine tablets for $52 plus $10 shipping. My doctor uses them now. SG
Yes, I have been trying to hit this with everything I can. Lysine tends to give my some gastric issues but not the Famvir. SG
Wow, I just paid like $125 for 90 pills at my local compounding pharmacy. Think I'll be switching next month. Do you need the prescription to order from Canada?
Betahistine (SERC was the name back when it was FDA approved) is the #! MM drug in the world. You can Google and find out what it does and how it works. You can get it in the US by going to any compounding Pharmacy. Usually smaller mom and pop shops. A 30-60 day trial will tell you if its gonna help.
Forgot to say that in most recent trails that serc didn't do any better than a placebo. Which does not speak very well for serc. But what the heck if it does no harm give it a go. The large majority of people who have some MM symptoms and get no treatment stop having problems and life goes on. Sometimes that takes a year or two. So anything you do to buy time is on your side. You will find that with many herbal and other stuff you may read even on this forum. Meniett Pump etc all falls into those placebo categories. Hang tight. Lots to good medical therapy to solve MM. No one needs to suffer for long if you have a good doc. Lots of fixes.
