Has anyone here taken the max dose of Valacyclovir more than six months?

    Thank you for all the info and your support. Are you still doing well with the antivirals? Are you still symptom free from the Mienere's? I hope so and you continue to have good health.

    Yes, i'm completely 100%, and have been for some time now. I am currently taking 500 mg of Valrex x 3 per day. Plus 1000 mg of lysine x 3 per day.

    Ok that great. How is your balance? Do you have that off balance feeling or has that gone away?

    Will you ever go down to just 500 mg once a day or will you stay at the 3x a day ?

    I'm sorry, i mistyped. I am taking 500 mg of Valtrex once per day. Lysine 1000 mg 3x per day.

    And i have no balance issues left. All my hearing has recovered to normal.

    But keep in mind it's been more than two years. It took time for all those things to get better, and i have actively worked on my balance with exercises, etc. I still have occasional tinnitus, but very soft and not bothersome.

    That's wonderful!! What exercises do you do? I do vestibular exercises that my physical therapist told me to do. However, it's been several months and I still don't feel any difference.☹️ But, I will continue to do them everyday and I pray it starts to help.
