I can only eat fruits because everything else has too much salt and causes me to get vertigo. Also I stopped eating nuts , since that can increase the virus if my Mienere's is caused by that. I get so frustrated because I can't eat anything else when I'm out. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you for your time.

There's nothing better than Doritos & beef jerky with a Coke. Funyuns are underappreciated. As for healthy? Pork rinds I guess. No carbs and like 20 grams of protein. They say apples curb the appetite but for some reason they make me even hungrier.

I would do exercises over low sodium diet. Light jogging / walking (aerobic) for 45 minutes, and McKenzie neck exercises are good to improve blood circulation which increaes healing rate.

Low sodium diet temporarily alleviates symptoms, and does nothing more. It has nothing to do with the root cause. Too much restriction on the diet may even cause adverse effect on keeping healthy spine and blood vessel.
In summary, have good nutrution and do exercise, all for your healthy neck and ear.

Sometimes i make my own granola bars. That way I know all the ingredients and I don't put any salt in. These could be wrapped in foil or wax paper and travel as easily as an apple. I'm always interested in what people on a lo so diet eat. I've been eating a lot of the same things day after day and when I go off the diet I feel crummy the next day. I've stopped eating prepared foods thus why i make my own granola bars.
    My best to you all.

I eat 500mg daily of sodium, and no more than 150 grams of carbs. It seems to be lessening my attacks, and health wise outside of MM I feel much better. I eat some fruit, boiled eggs, a lot of green salads, salmon, chicken and turkey that I barbecue. I have not eaten out in 6 months and besides a salad, without dressing, etc, etc on it there are not a lot of options in restaruants. It is a trade off for not having as many vertigo attacks, and for right now worth it for me.
