I've been going to a chiropractor for two months to see if stiffness in my upper neck can be corrected. I believe the treatments really do make my neck feel much better. My chiropractor also does an adjustment on my left ear, which is affected with the symptoms of Meniere's (mainly fullness) and he believes it will help. My question here is simply this.... is it safe to have ear adjustments done by a chiropractor? I am uncertain so far if it's helping or not, but wanted to get some other opinions on this website.

I would think it's safe as long as he's licensed but has he explained to you exactly what he is doing and why he thinks it will help you?

He is a strong believer in this ear adjustment. He told me it helps to get the ear back to it's normal function.

I've never heard of this...please keep us posted on if it works. I would love to get a break from the fullness in my ears as it is uncomfortable or the tinnitus or any other symptoms.

I was curious about this and did some research. It seems that most chiropractic ear adjustment is done relieve or prevent ear infections. The belief is that it helps clear the eustachian tubes, the blockage of which could be the cause of the infections.
