Well, have appt. already for doctor to address the newly diagnosed Gastroparesis--stomach emptying problems.
Get a call from my Cardiologist and he's read more of my records from my recent stay in the hospital and wants a lung breathing test and scan to check for possible blood clots in the lungs.
Saw him yesterday--and he was very encouraging--said both lungs and heart sounded good, so no more tests needed.Today I had to have a chest x ray--and a test to see if any blood clots were in my lungs. Happily, got results and all are normal.

However--saw Gastric surgeon and told my stomach empties 2% of the food over a period of time and thus cramping and inability to digest certain foods. Am now on low-fat, low fiber, meals 4 to 5 times a day--have Gastroparesis. No surgery to correct it. I posted about the gastric problem but wonder if anyone here has that too and if so how you deal with it. Thx.

I'm living on jello, yogurt, mashed/baked potato's (limited) baked, nothing fried or seasoned much. Small meals--handfull size portions (palm of course) and no ice cream, chips, candy (chocolate) nuts, fresh fruits or veggies. 4 to 5 meals a day.

I fill up quickly though--and stomach very bloated. My heart/lung tests turned out pretty good--then got a call he wants me to see a Pulmonologist! So--have an appt. in two weeks and waiting for the office to call to schedule an appt. with a Gastroenterologist who specializes in treating Gastroparesis.

My hearing test was almost the same as last time--so doctor said the Meniere's has 'settled' won't get better or worse! Have 'recruitment' issue--hyperacusis=and clarity in hearing is the issue. Don't see him for another year.

I will 'check in' when I get other issues addressed--and hoping the news isn't bad--but will keep up here on Meniere's issues.
Sounds like I 'have what I have with it--and I hope with addressing these other symptoms I've been having--maybe getting those better might even improve my hearing and other symptoms with Meniere's. :)
