Cook 5 slices of bacon till crispy. Let cool, then crumble. Set aside. 1 1/2 cups flour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 1/4 cup cold butter 4 green onions, chopped Approximately 3/4 to 1 cup sour milk. 3/4 grated cheese Combine dry ingredients. Cut in butter till the size of peas. Add bacon and cheese. Add milk, stirring in gently. Knead gently about 8 times. Pat dough out to about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into desired shapes. Bake at 400 F for 18 to 20 minutes. Recipe can be doubled. Freezes well.
