Do you have warts? In particular on your fingers?

In my quest to determine the cause of my Meniere's, I'm now pursuing the the virus possibility. Warts are caused by a virus in the HPV family.

As it happens I have a wart on the end of my right index finger that's been around for years. Can't seem to get rid of it completely.

Perhaps the virus passed from my finger to my right ear? That's my worse-off ear.

Just curious if you have a similar situation, or if you think warts could be related to your Meniere's as well.

Recently I went to dermatologist for a growth on my forearm. He said it was a wart. I had them somewhat frequently as a kid on my fingers. Maybe one each year for a few years. Didn't know they had anything to do with a virus.

I actually had quite a few warts as a child, well over a dozen. None as a adult, but interesting concept.

I have one on the left side of my knee that my dermatologist tried to freeze off, but it just made it mad. However, I’ve been on valacyclovir for about a month and the wart is shrinking considerably.

No, i dont. The way to find out if it is a virus is to try antivirals. If they work, it is at least in part due to a virus. If they dont, go on to the next possibility.
