Much. Took another day off work today to recoup and spend the lost time with family. It was worth it. We built Legos and listened to music, and I was able to prepare a five item dinner by myself. Relaxing on the couch now, need to to sleep soon as we will go to my FIL's place tomorrow for one more Xmas.

 

Nah, I'll be working NYE and New Year's Day. So lots of sleep for me... Actually, sleep is one of the key changes that is helping right now.

 

Like you a lot, but won't let you burden me with a grim PC personality. I will make light of anything and everything.

 

I’m not into PC, Pupper. I will point out insensitive comments when I see them. Continue to make light of anything and everything, but be aware that sometimes that offends your friends.

Ha. I lose. When all the women were scrambling around my kitchen on Christmas I asked if they could just throw a few of my frozen pizzas in the oven and join us in the bar. They dismissed the idea and continued their buzzing. I actually think they like all the craziness that goes into coordinating a holiday feast.

Besides, I love my mom's southern cornbread dressing so I'm glad they shewed me out of the kitchen.

 

I'm not the kinda guy who's gonna put laughy faces on the end of every post written in jest.

But, thank you. Cookies are difficult and time consuming. No laughing matter.

Right now I am sitting in my condo wishing I was back in my house in Florida!!! Will be there the end of January so I just have to hold on. If it weren't for my kids I would not be here I would be on the golf course. But if I didn't have my kids for the holidays I would be so sad. So here I sit happy and freezing

 

Smart man. You concede defeat! I thought you might reconsider::mischievous grin:: I mean, did you ever stop and think about the biceps women(or anyone who cooks in large quantities)may have just from mixing?! Ha! You totally wouldn’t want to mess with those, “guns.” Hehehe

Aren’t family recipes a nice tradition? I mean, even if you feel like telling your family to take a hike, the food’s still good.

One thing I love about you Pupper, you are more than willing to get as good as you give.

 

It's probably no big deal but I want to apologize Mel, for being prickly. And Cheryl, do know that I meant my Hallmark cookies comment in fun. But I can see how it could be taken as unkind sarcasm. I need to remember that I'm not out with the guys when I'm on here.

Getting ready to go to my grandsons hockey game. Going to freeze it is -2 out and I will be sitting in an ice arena for the next hour and a half. Something is wrong with me...
